This website
The site is hosted on Amazon Web Services, using its Amplify service. For each request the hosting keeps a log entry: the date and time, the page asked for, your IP address, the page you came from if your browser sends it, and your browser's description of itself.
We cannot switch this log off. Amazon keeps it for as long as the site is hosted with this service.
We do not use the log to follow visitors or to build a list of who came. We look at it only to investigate a fault or misuse of the site. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in keeping the site working and secure.
The site sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. It runs no analytics and no advertising, and it loads nothing from any other company's site.
How we see search results
We use Google Search Console to see which searches show the site and how often. It gives us totals from Google's own records. It does not tell us who searched, and it puts nothing on this site.
When you email us
The button "Ask for a walkthrough" opens an email in your own email program. If you send it, we receive your name, your email address and whatever you choose to tell us.
We use these to reply and, where you ask, to show you the platform and discuss it with you. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in answering enquiries, or steps taken at your request before entering into a contract.
We keep an enquiry for 12 months after our last contact with you. If it becomes part of a contract, we keep it for as long as the law requires.
Our email is provided by Google Workspace, so Google handles these messages for us. Google and Amazon Web Services may handle data outside the United Kingdom, under the safeguards that UK data protection law requires.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it, or ask us to restrict its use. Write to info@normatiq.io and we will reply within one month.
You can also complain to the ICO, the United Kingdom's data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.
